The active-case numbers listed above change as residents are removed from protective isolation based on CDC and CMS guidance for doing so.
**The number of staff members noted are considered active cases and may include people working for other organizations with which Diakon contracts to provide such services as rehabilitation, housekeeping and culinary services. Active cases do not include a staff member who tested positive but who, based on guidelines, is no longer considered positive but is continuing to recuperate at home; those cases also do not include the dedicated staff who, after self-quarantine, have returned to work when considered safe to do so. In addition, the staff status may include individuals who have tested positive but are asymptomatic and are continuing to work, but only in “red zones” designated for active resident cases.
