Schuylkill County Senior Community Centers

Important April 2021 Update: Schuylkill County Senior Community Centers are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon by reservation only (because of CDC guidelines and the need for physical-distancing). You must call a senior center to make a reservation to ensure adequate space is available. CDC guidelines are followed, including the use of appropriate facial masks. Meals will not be served, but coffee is available. Activities are planned, so please ask about these when you make your reservation at any of the centers below. New members are always welcome!

Senior Community Centers in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, offer a variety of programs and services for those 60 and older. In addition, the centers provide nutritionally balanced lunch-time meals. The centers are funded in part through contracts with the Schuylkill County Office of Senior Services. Download the center handbook.

Open weekdays, the centers offer a range of settings and amenities, varying by location. Features may include:

•  State-of-the-art computer labs

• Regularly scheduled activities and games

• Volunteer opportunities including Meals on Wheels
• Assistance with Schuylkill Transportation System applications
• Special service projects in partnership with community organizations
