October 6 Update: We currently have no residents or staff members considered positive for COVID-19. Our staff works diligently to sanitize the building on a daily basis, several times a day. No group gatherings are occurring at this time. The Choice meal program is operating, with meals being delivered to the doors of participating residents. The assistance-related part of Choice has resumed with use of appropriate personal protective equipment. No van transportation is occurring at this time. Masks are still required to enter the building and must be worn in all common areas of Frostburg.
Providing affordable, equal-opportunity housing apartments, Frostburg Heights overlooks the picturesque college community of Frostburg, Md. As a federal Housing and Urban Development Section 8 rental-subsidy community, Frostburg Heights is able to offer income-qualified persons rental fees that are approximately 30 percent of their adjusted income. The community serves eligible persons 62 years of age or older or physically challenged individuals 18 years of age or older.
