Adult Day Services at Ravenwood
Sept. 28 update: Diakon Adult Day Services at Ravenwood closed in mid-March as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has not been permitted to reopen. Because there appears to be no clear way to reopen the program in the current environment and do so sustainably, Diakon has made the difficult decision to close the center permanently, effective Nov. 25. There is no place like home–that’s why Ravenwood Manor—located in Hagerstown, Pennsylvania—offers adult day services. In many situations, the adult day care program allows older persons or those with disabilities to live at home or with family members during the evenings and weekends.
